H.A. is a medical journalist and master naturalist from Virginia. Her work focuses on nature, dark humor, and feral women.

Inspired by her love of the East Coast, all of H.A.’s work takes place in (or is heavily based on) North Carolina and Virginia.

When she isn’t being a freak for the creek, she can be found watching terrible horror movies with her partner, sitting on a porch with her sister, or driving around with her dog.
